Research is mentored by a researcher in that field, software by a working engineer, ventures by someone who has actually run a company.

Research
- From topic selection through a full manuscript to journal submission, aiming at SCI or SCIE publication.

- Find a topic worth working on with a local government, submit a proposal, deliver it, then write the final report.

How it works
The student does the work
Mentors set direction and review. They do not ghostwrite or build the work on the student's behalf.
Connected to the application
We plan how the project will appear in the activity list and essays, so it does not run as a separate exercise.
Scheduled backwards
Deadlines are set by counting back from the application timeline before the project starts.
To be clear
Extracurricular projects do not manufacture an admit. If grades and test scores are below the threshold, those come first. We also do not publish individual students' project outcomes, since a specific project combined with a school and result can identify the student. What kinds of deliverables have come out of each field is discussed during consultation.
